I adore classical music and I have had the enormous pleasure of listening to live symphonic and chamber music for most of my life. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is a particular favorite and I have attended performances on and off for 37 years. I have watched many of the members of the ASO mature into extraordinary musicians and look on them as old friends. I know their faces, movements, styles, presence and symbiosis. These collages were inspired by my relationship to the music. They are made by first painting many sheets of watercolor paper with every imaginable color and then cutting them into endless configurations to create the exact image I see in my mind. Joy!!!
